Recent travels

With the rapid approach of the end of this year and the threat of loosing my annual vacation days, I decided to do a bit of a 'stay-cation' and visit the places I had been talking about visiting all year.

It turned out to be a very eclectic 5 days off work with visits to Oxford, Bicester, Blenheim Palace, Birmingham and even a short stay at a local spa!

Has anyone else done a stay-cation this year?

Race for Life 2011

Can't believe it is a week today since I took part in Cancer Researches Race For Life.

Still amazed that it turned out to be such a fun day. The sun was shining, there was pink as far as the eye could see and everyone was generally in high spirits.

Only downside...learning that my sister has now over taken me in the fitness stakes...guess there is always next year!

Pandora?...it really is an addiction!

With it being a rare occurrence that I manage to walk past a Pandora store these days, it was inevitable that I would end up doing a Pandora 'show and tell'

As I have mentioned previously, I was my bracelet was a gift for my birthday and has since become my pride and joy. Beads have then been received as gifts and purchased by myself resulting in the bracelet now being 2/3s full.

My overall impression of the brand is that the products are well made and well thought out. This being said, it is a little on the pricey side!

I was also less than pleased about the price increase earlier this year. The beads increased by atleast £5 and other items by considerably more!

Taylor Swift at Birmingham LG Arena

Annoyingly thin and impossibly pretty was the envious conclusion reached
by my sister and myself after tuesday nights concert, not to mention
ridiculously talented! With 5 different costume changes, 3 different
hairstyles and loads of glitter and sparkle I would definitely recommend
Taylor as an artist well worth seeing live.

My Birthday

So yesterday was a rather special occasion for me. It saw the end of my twenties and ushered in a new decade in the story that is my life.

I have to say I met this occasion with trepidation and uncertainty, but, as it turns out, the world did not end and I have not become wrinkly overnight!

The actual day itself was very pleasant (as is any day that involves a trip to Selfridges Noodle bar!)

I would like to thank all my friends and family for helping to make it a special day and for spoiling me rotten with loads of pressies!

I am now on my way to being a Pandora obsessive!
